Comment from expert, Richard Willan: This species of Halgerda is characterised by the translucent white dorsum without any superficial lines or speckles, by the large gold-capped tubercles, gills with extensive black pigment on all the rachides, and by the rhinophores wit a black streak on the clavus and black clavus.
