Information
Comment from expert, Alexander Martynov: Colga minichevi is widely distributed in North West Pacific and has been reported from Kamchatka coast to the south Kurile Islands and Aniva Bay, Sakhalin as well as at the Iona island in the Okhotsk Sea and in the Tatar strait, Japan Sea. Colga minichevi is well distinguished from both known species of the genus, Colga villosa (Odhner, 1907) and Colga pacifica (Bergh, 1894) by numerous dorsal processes (6-8 irregular longitudinal rows), absence of the central tooth of the radula, elongate shape of the first and second lateral teeth, and also by reproductive system peculiarities.
