Doug returned to Sydney in 2005 after five years in the bush and took up diving as a means of finding the peace, isolation and enjoyment of nature he’d grown accustomed to during his years in the country. He mostly dives alone, never without a camera, and considers himself lucky to live in a city that offers all the advantages of a large metropolis while at the same time providing this wonderful escape.
