"The mantle is opaque white (instead of semi-transparent as in the majority of specimens), so it disguises the inner white submarginal band, but the foot margin is pale purple which is characteristic of Thorunna horologia. Clearly the marginal bands do not always enlarge midway along the side of the body in this species."
