Comment from the photographer: Cyerce nigra, Dinah's Beach, Milne Bay, PNG, March 26, 1998, scanned from slide film. There were several of these 10 mm long slugs about 5 meters down a silty volcanic sand slope. None that I was were on macro algae. I moved some Halimeda near this one to get some contrast with the dark subject.
