"This is a very interesting individual in which the flanks of the mantle have black specks that are not clearly aligned in radial rows. In typical individuals, there are black radial lines. The network of white pigment on the tubercles in the central area of the mantle that is characteristic of Halgerda albocristata are obvious in this individual."
