"An undescribed species. The pink ‘sausage’ on the head of the Marionia is the egg sac of an internal copepod parasite (Crustacea: Copepoda: Harpacticoidea: Splachnotrophidae: Ismaila sp.). These parasites live permanently inside the body of nudibranchs and the only indication of their presence is their long and coiled egg sacs of the females that project outside the body. We have no idea what damage these parasites cause their nudibranch hosts."
