Comment from the photographer: Chromodoris geometrica mating, Anuha Island, Florida Islands, Solomon Islands, Aug. 25, 2008. When I shot this I only saw a couple of sea slugs mating. Later, when reviewing my pictures I realized that the slug on the left has a single midline rhinophore. I have seen several nudibranchs with only one rhinophore, but it has always been on the side in the usual position. This is the first time I have seen a single rhinophore in the middle of the mantle.
