"This dorid nudibranch is characterised by the relatively broad mantle that is velvet-black with numerous, crowded and sometimes confluent, narrow white lines. Those towards the orange margin form concentric circles. Both the rhinophores and gills are reddish orange (similar to, but paler than, the marginal line) and peppered with white spots. This species occurs widely throughout the tropical Indo-west Pacific in 0 to 10 metres depth, but it is commonest in the upper 5 metres of that range, especially in the intertidal."
